The white chiffon scarf is one of the few things I took from her apartment after my grandmother died. I was guided by intuition. I felt that this item was important to her. I exposed the scarf to the sun and preserved its imprint using cyanotype. The shadow of this scarf is my dowry, and I decide whether I accept it or rework it and not pass it on to the next generation.
